Teachers have been meeting at the flag pole at each school five minutes before the contracted work day in solidarity. Our goal is to “walk in” to our buildings as a teaching staff together. We know that our growing Hockinson district, our students and our Hockinson community deserve the best schools with quality educators. We are aware that the surrounding districts are offering better benefits, better pay and attracting more teachers. It is imperative that we do the same in order to hold on to our quality staff and continue to attract the best in education.

Thank you for joining us by wearing red and meeting at the flag pole each morning in solidarity to say that we believe in our schools and our students’ education.

Don’t forget to attend the board meeting Monday evening September 26th at 6pm. Wear RED!
